Research shows that inclusive environments result in the best outcomes for children with autism. Thus, as part of our treatment programs, children with ASD can learn alongside their typically developing peers at our bright, beautiful center, Blackbird Academy, located on Bowen Rd. in central Nanaimo. For young children with ASD, receiving treatment in an inclusive environment is an essential component of preparing for school and working on important social goals.
